Description
Guderup recycling site is a good example showing that it is possible with relatively low investment to get an upgraded drop off site turning it into a more modern site In addition, a very short a very short construction period was established: installation took just a few days. The site is build on a landfill. The current paving in SF Stone has been there for years and using the Modulo concrete solution, Sønderborg Supply saved a lot of money by placing the modules directly on the existing pavement.
The Modulo platform is build on the existing SF stone paving and was assembled in 3 days. The space consists of 37 modules with safety stairs, ramps, guiding rails, doors and stairs. Modulo supply included the supply and install of triangular modules. The triangular blocks ensure an even smaller footprint for the Modulo solution.
The Modulo solution was singnificantly cheaper as compared to pour in place, specifically since the site was installed at a former landfill site.

Our goal of modernization has been to provide better customer service and make it easier for Guderup’s citizens to get rid of their waste and recyclables. We have only received positive comments from the citizens who think it is much easier to get along with the waste now. ”
